December 29, 2017 – St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish Hall. Under the leadership of the parish priest, Rev Fr Pascual Ma. Salas, OSM and with the efforts of the Commission on Services to Human Promotion headed by Sis. Cora Hizon, in cooperation with members of the St. Peregrine Livelihood & Educational Foundation (SPLEFI), Mother Butlers Guild, Eucharistic Ministers of the Holy Communion (EMHC) and local community coordinators, 350 families received gift packs on the Parish Christmas gift-giving drive held last December 27-28, 2017 at the Parish Hall.
The gift-giving drive is an annual activity initiated by the parish priest to promote generosity and gift-giving in the spirit of Christmas to the less privileged in the parish. This year’s recipients were the Sikatville, Sitio Salvacion, Tunasan and Purok 7 communities. The gift packs included among others; packs of rice, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce, a bar of cheese, canned goods and food items that can be shared by the families on their Noche Buena and Buena Noche – all derived from the donations of generous donors.
Special thanks to the donors who donated in kind and monetary assistance which made the parish gift-giving drive a success and brought joy to the recipients this Christmas season.
