Life now is moving so fast that it may seem not be measured by the time anymore. Everything is almost instant that it made us busy by coping up with the fast – moving society. We don’t pause because we don’t want to be left behind. Our capacity to think twice or even thrice was replaced by “just go with the flow”. We already reach the peak and I think it means to not just pause but stop. To look back the footprints we have left behind and to look forward if we are walking on the right way of life. Because with all these things simultaneously happening in our lives, we are less aware that these are the ways of Satan for us to little by little lose connection to the source – God. Yes it is not right that we will say that all these struggles and sufferings we are going through is God’s way of testing us. It is Satan who is the author of it all. He does not only tempt us but also tests us. That is why it is important that we are aware of all the things that are happening in our lives and that is through Christ – the ultimate source of everything.
So how often we make a pause and go back to source?
Repentance should be constant. Why? Because we are constantly and continuously being tempted and tested by Satan under the guise of good reason or purpose. It is important that we recognize our sins and realign our faith. Asking for forgiveness and reconnecting with the source – God. It is only through this that we will be not blinded by the blindfold Satan tie on us, waking up in reality with God while leaving the fantasy Satan has created. Because reconciliation will not only release the guilt within us, it also means that we acknowledge our sins and it discourages Satan of pursuing his plans because we are already aware of it.
Now, worry about life? We don’t need to, it’s from Satan. Afraid to be left behind with what society requires? We should not, we connect with God instead. Remember Satan is just always around and he will never stop in attempting to intervene. But we need not worry because God will not just give us the right amount of energy to battle Satan’s temptations and testing but an overflowing love to conquer whatever attempts he will make. There is one we should be worried of, though, that is, when we are separated from God.
God will always make a way to keep us going. Because what is good about moving forward is not just because we would be able to find out what lies ahead, but also because we will be able to overcome every struggle in every step of our way. And we can only do all these through Christ, in the Holy Spirit who strengthens and make us strong.
