📜 The Story in a Nutshell:
Jesus tells a story about a widow who kept asking a judge for justice. This judge? He doesn’t care about God or people. But this woman? She’s relentless! She showed up every day until he finally said, “Fine! I’ll give her what she wants just so she’ll stop bothering me!”

🌈 What Jesus Was Really Saying:
If a grumpy, unfair judge can give in to someone’s persistence…

👉 How much more will our loving God listen to us when we keep praying?
God isn’t annoyed by our prayers — He actually loves when we trust Him enough to keep talking to Him, even when things don’t happen right away.

💭 For Us Today (Especially for Youth!):
Life today is full of waiting — waiting for grades, results, opportunities, answers… and sometimes, waiting on God feels hardest of all.
But Jesus tells us: Keep praying. Don’t lose heart. 💖

  • When your prayer feels “seen” but not answered — God is still working.
  • When life seems unfair — trust that God sees what’s happening.
  • When you feel like giving up — remember the widow. She didn’t quit.

⚡ The Challenge:
Jesus ends with a question:
“When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” That’s His way of asking:
✨ Will you still believe when life gets hard?
✨ Will you still pray when the answer takes time?

💡 Takeaway:
Be like the widow — persistent, brave, and full of faith.
Because faith isn’t about getting what you want fast — it’s about trusting that God’s timing is always right. 🕊️

🌿 FAITH IN THE WAITING

Faith is easy when prayers are answered, when life is smooth, when hope is visible. But what about the times when I’m waiting, when I’m weary, when I’m wondering if God is still listening? That’s when this question becomes real. I think about the widow in the parable – how she kept coming, kept asking, kept believing. She didn’t have power or status, but she had faith that refused to quit. Her persistence wasn’t just about getting justice – it was about trusting that justice was possible.

Jesus isn’t asking if I’ve had moments of faith. He’s asking if when He comes. Will I still be praying, still be hoping, still be trusting – even when the answers haven’t come? This reflection challenges me to live a faith that endures. Not just a faith that starts strong, but one that finishes well. A faith that holds on through silence, through struggle, through seasons of waiting. That faith is forged in the fire of waiting. It’s not weakened by silence – it’s strengthened by persistence. It’s the kind of faith that refuses to let go, not because the answer has come, but because the One I’m praying to is trustworthy. It’s about a heart that clings to God when everything else says to let go. It’s about believing in His goodness when circumstances scream otherwise. It’s about trusting that justice will come, even if it’s not yet.

And when Jesus asks, “Will I find faith?” I will be able to say: “Yes, Lord. You’ll find me still kneeling. Still praying. Still believing. Not because it’s easy, but because You are worth the wait.” –m’jenn❤️

PRAYER TO START THE WEEK

Lord, help me to keep praying and not give up. When life feels tough or unfair, remind me that You’re always listening. Give me faith like the persistent widow — strong, patient, and full of hope. I trust that You’ll answer in the right time and in the best way. Amen.
