Sadly, we share the news of the very unexpected death of our Servite brother Fr Alvin Cabacang, OSM, who died yesterday afternoon in Portland, OR. Fr. Alvin, a member of the St. Peregrine Philippine Vicariate, had been ministering at The Grotto since 2012 and was a much loved member of the Grotto and Portland communities. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
