September 3, 2017 ~ St. Peregrine Laziosi Diocesan Shrine. During the Installation Mass held at the St. Peregrine Laziosi Diocesan Shrine concelebrated with the Bishop of the Diocese of Paranaque – Most Rev Bishop Jesse Mercado, DD, Rev. Fr. Pascual Ma. Salas, OSM professed his faith and publicly expressed his fidelity and obedience to the Diocesan Bishop. Bishop Mercado then handed him the keys to the tabernacle symbolizing his acceptance of the responsibilities as the new parish priest of the St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish.

On his homily and message to the congregation, Bishop Mercado explained the importance of having a pastor that takes care of the spiritual well-being of the flock and souls entrusted to him and of the support that the parishioners shall extend to him in carrying out his duties as the new parish priest.

On his Thanksgiving address, Fr. Salas thanked Bishop Mercado, his brother priests and friars of the Order of Servants of Mary, the different organizations and commissions of the parish and everyone present.

A dinner reception for guests and parishioners followed at the Parish Hall after the celebration of the Mass.

Fr Aloy, as he is locally known was the former parish priest of the St. Joseph The Worker Parish (Diocese of Antipolo) in Angono Rizal which is also under the administration of the Order of Servants of Mary. Working with him in the administration of the St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish are Rev. Fr. Leonard Ma. Guiang, OSM and Rev. Fr. Warren Ma. Campilan, OSM as Assistant Parish Priests.
