The publication started and the group was formed in January 2001 on Epiphany Sunday. It was founded by a priest belonging to the Order of the Servants of Mary (OSM).
Through the years, members have come and gone but in total, ~50 individuals have been part of the team. These young individuals in their own time have been active at the St Peregrine Laziosi Parish ‐ Muntinlupa, serving not only as young prophets as they were fondly considered by the team’s early spiritual directors but also as Animators, Cathechists, Lectors, and Commentators. Members have recognized that their participation in the team had, if not, continues to be instrumental in their formation as Christians, responsible individuals, and upright citizens.
It is a noble and remarkable legacy NeoJ spiritual directors – past and present – are imparting to the youth of our Parish as they continue to assist them in their spiritual growth. They fulfill their priestly responsibilities to these young people, who in turn fulfill theirs as they impart the good news to their families and friends, and even to the juvenile delinquents they visit weekly at the National Bilibid Prison.
This is a testament to how God is working through and among his people!

“DON’T QUIT: GOD’S STILL WORKING” ~ 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time
📜 The Story in a Nutshell: Jesus tells a story about a widow who kept asking a judge for justice. This judge? He doesn’t care about God or people. But this woman? She’s relentless! She showed up every day until he finally said, “Fine! I’ll give her what she wants just...
“HAVE YOU THANKED GOD ENOUGH?” ~ 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time
The Gospel (Luke 17, 11-19) we hear today speaks about the Lord Jesus' cleansing of the ten lepers. They stood at a distance from the Lord and begged Him to have pity on them because they were unclean. They knew that the Lord could do something to make them clean. The...
“FAITH IN MOTION, SERVICE WITHOUT EXPECTATION” ~ 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Lord, increase my faith! The apostles recognize that they need Divine help more than human strength. If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this mulberry tree, be thou rooted up, and be thou transplanted into the sea: and it would obey you....
“THE DANGER OF LIVING ONLY FOR OURSELVES” ~ 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time
The Gospel for the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Luke 16:19–31) presents the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, a story that offers a profound warning against indifference and the sin of omission. The rich man, traditionally called Dives (Latin for “rich”), is...
25th Sunday in Ordinary Time – September 21, 2025
Faithful Stewards of What Truly Lasts The parable of the steward unsettles us because it portrays a man who acted with more self-interest, yet Jesus praises his foresight. The point is not his dishonesty, but his ability to recognize a crisis and respond with urgency....
“Pagsubok…..Pagpapala” 2nd Sunday of Lent – March 8, 2020
Wika ng isang manunulat “The thought of an anticipated blessing will temper the pain of our present affliction.” Oo nga naman, kapag umasa kang may liwanag na darating, kakayanin mong bagtasin ang dilim ng kasalukuyan. Sa ebanghelyo ngayon ay pinalakas ni Jesus ang...
“Say ‘No’” First Sunday of Lent ~ March 1, 2020
“The Perspective Changer” 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ February 16, 2020
Most of the time, we follow rules and regulations without knowing the deeper meaning or reason behind it especially when many also followed the regulations being imposed. An example of this is the laws of God. You may be thinking that you’re really following God’s law...
“Humility: Maturity” Feast of the Sto. Niño – January 19, 2020
Our maturity is defined on how we react on things. Responding widely but humble. Acting on character, not by emotion but with empathy. Believing that “no man is an island” and admitting that no one is “Mr. Know it all”. We are taught by our experiences in life. All...
“Great Love“ Christ the King Sunday – November 24, 2019
In our world with so much anger, hatred and chaos. This may include acknowledging our own suffering; that we, too, are scared, anxious and despairing; that we too are vulnerable. These are the moments when we see all sufferings and disappointments seems unbearable....
