On the blessed night of December 24, the faithful gathered at the St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish and Diocesan Shrine to celebrate the Christmas Midnight Mass – a solemn and joyous occasion marking the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The celebration was presided over by our beloved Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Bryan Ma. Eala, OSM, who led the community in heartfelt prayer and thanksgiving. The church radiated with the warm glow of lights and the spirit of unity as families, friends, and parishioners came together to embrace the true meaning of Christmas.

In his homily, Fr. Bryan reminded us: “Jesus Christ is God’s perfect gift to us — the Light that enters the darkness and the eternal joy offered to a world that waits.”

He further reflected: “Sometimes, we humans are forgetful; we fail to recognize the One who gives us true nourishment. The real celebration of this liturgy is allowing Christ to shape our lives and, above all, our entire being. It means choosing forgiveness over anger, generosity over excessive possession, humility over pride, and faith over fear.”

May this truth inspire us to live with compassion, humility, and gratitude every day.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in this sacred celebration, and to all the volunteers and ministries who worked tirelessly to make the liturgy meaningful and beautiful.

May the joy and peace of Christ dwell in our homes and guide us throughout the coming year.
