The publication started and the group was formed in January 2001 on Epiphany Sunday. It was founded by a priest belonging to the Order of the Servants of Mary (OSM).
Through the years, members have come and gone but in total, ~50 individuals have been part of the team. These young individuals in their own time have been active at the St Peregrine Laziosi Parish ‐ Muntinlupa, serving not only as young prophets as they were fondly considered by the team’s early spiritual directors but also as Animators, Cathechists, Lectors, and Commentators. Members have recognized that their participation in the team had, if not, continues to be instrumental in their formation as Christians, responsible individuals, and upright citizens.
It is a noble and remarkable legacy NeoJ spiritual directors – past and present – are imparting to the youth of our Parish as they continue to assist them in their spiritual growth. They fulfill their priestly responsibilities to these young people, who in turn fulfill theirs as they impart the good news to their families and friends, and even to the juvenile delinquents they visit weekly at the National Bilibid Prison.
This is a testament to how God is working through and among his people!

“Bakit Nagtatagal?” 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 20, 2019
Ten were healed, but how come only one returned? 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 13, 2019
In today’s gospel, ten lepers called out “Master” to Jesus and appealed to him for mercy – they all looked at Jesus as a healer. In obedience to Jesus’ command to show themselves to priests, the ten of them started to make their way and one of them, a Samaritan,...
“Less of Me” 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time – September 29, 2019
We often hear people saying “be generous” and “please give generously”. But what does being generous means? Most of us think that being generous is all about money but it’s not. We can also be generous in time and talent’ it leaves us no excuse that we can’t be...
“Mapamaraan sa Paggawa ng Mabuti” 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time – September 22, 2019
“Umalis, Nagbalik, Nagdiwang” 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time – September 15, 2019
“Your father is waiting. Do you see him?” Rafiki told Simba. “I don’t see anything,”Simba replied. “Do you see him? He lives in you,” Rafiki said. “Simba, you must take your place in the circle of life,” said Mufasa. “I can’t,” Simba replied “You must remember who you...
DISCIPLESHIP – An Ultimate Commitment – 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time -September 8, 2019
In the beginning of the gospel, Jesus made it clear that discipleship is a total surrender of one’s life and everything that is attached to it–possession, family, the world. To be a disciple is not simply one time act of choosing to follow Jesus but assessing of the...
“Humility is Generosity” 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time – September 01, 2019
To be humble is to be generous. Ang talinghaga ay...
“Ligtas Na Pero Hindi Pa” 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time – August 25, 2019
“Kung Kailan Man ay Hindi Mahalaga” 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ August 11, 2019
Kevin O’Sullivan, “A thief succeeds in robbing a house because he does not announce his...
“Chasing After the World or the Lord?” 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time – August 3, 2019
Let's be honest. Today's gospel is hard to swallow. How can we not care about worldly matters when each day that we live in is another day of struggle in paying bills, buying food and other expenses? It's just truly hard not to. Jesus made a tough call in today's...
