The publication started and the group was formed in January 2001 on Epiphany Sunday. It was founded by a priest belonging to the Order of the Servants of Mary (OSM).
Through the years, members have come and gone but in total, ~50 individuals have been part of the team. These young individuals in their own time have been active at the St Peregrine Laziosi Parish ‐ Muntinlupa, serving not only as young prophets as they were fondly considered by the team’s early spiritual directors but also as Animators, Cathechists, Lectors, and Commentators. Members have recognized that their participation in the team had, if not, continues to be instrumental in their formation as Christians, responsible individuals, and upright citizens.
It is a noble and remarkable legacy NeoJ spiritual directors – past and present – are imparting to the youth of our Parish as they continue to assist them in their spiritual growth. They fulfill their priestly responsibilities to these young people, who in turn fulfill theirs as they impart the good news to their families and friends, and even to the juvenile delinquents they visit weekly at the National Bilibid Prison.
This is a testament to how God is working through and among his people!

Holy Thursday-Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper ~ April 2, 2026
The Hidden Gesture of the Last Supper The Last Supper, except for the Holy Eucharist, is the most important institution Jesus performed. The washing of the feet is of the significant gestures, but it was removed from the Mass. I believe it could be meaningful to have...

The First Sunday of Lent ~ February 22, 2026
St. Gregory wrote in one of his homilies that: “Some doubt what Spirit it was that led Jesus into the desert... But true and without question agreeable to the context is the received opinion, that it was the Holy Spirit; that His own Spirit should lead Him thither...
A Call to Deeper Righteousness ~ Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ February 15, 2026
Matthew 5:17–37 forms a central section of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, where He reveals the true meaning of the Law and calls His disciples to a deeper righteousness. Jesus begins by clarifying that He has not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill...
“Bearing Witness to Christ as Salt and Light” ~ Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ February 8, 2026
The first defining characteristic of Jesus’ disciples is to be the salt of the earth. Salt has a clear purpose: it gives flavor. People use salt because it makes food more pleasant and enjoyable. It is striking that Jesus says, “Salt is good,” suggesting that...
“Christianity is Other-centered life” ~ Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ February 1, 2026
Heaven is the place of the humble and meek of heart while hell is the place for the proud and arrogant. The two cannot be mixed up. To be true Christian, one must possess all the virtues contained in the Beatitudes. This was so clear to the Matthean Christian...
