April 6, 2019 ~ St. Peregrine Laziosi Diocesan Shrine/ Jasper Christian Gambito. In anticipation of the upcoming May 2019 National and Local Elections, a Peace Covenant Signing was initiated by the Muntinlupa City Police together with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), and the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) and was held at the St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish and Diocesan Shrine last March 28, 2019. Rev. Fr. Deogracias Ma. Alejandria, the Parish Administrator of the St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish celebrated a Holy Mass prior to the covenant signing.
Present in the shrine were the various local candidates from different political parties. Also present were PSUPT. Joe Wilson J. Denamarca and PSSUPT Gerardo L. Umayao from Muntinlupa City Police, Atty. Jovencio C. Balanquit and Atty. Kimberley Joy Alzate-Cu from the Commission of Elections and Dr. Noel P. Tacorda from the Parish Pastoral Council for Peaceful Elections. The said activity was done with the hope of having a free, credible, and peaceful elections this coming May.
