As an educator, I am well aware how influential my profession is. And as I impart knowledge to my students, all the more I feel how helpful I can be to the lives of these people.

Outside the four walls of the classroom, however my confidence to engage in the society is rather not there. To speak about the issues, commitment to the government, and obedience to the law of the nation is not something I dwell on. As for me, the more meek I am, the more peaceful my life can be.

I always tell myself that my life both in the classroom and the church are different from the life I have in the the outside world. I thought its enough tha I’m here in the comfort zone, and pursuing God alone. But this gospel proved me wrong.

I realized that as a Christian, I am an instrument in tranforming the society too. It is my duty not only to follow the commandments of the Lord, but also tje law of the land. As a citizen of this nation, I should do good things for my country and its mankind. With that, I should be more cooperative and not be the cause of division.

Obedience to God’s laws will lead us to do responsible acts to one another and to our nation. As church’s people, may we not separate ourselves from the society. Because at the end of the day, in God’s eyes, we are all one-one church, one nation, one God’s love.
