With the current trends in our society, it is of no wonder that some of our brethren feel hopeless, as if they were being succumbed into a dark abyss. Negativities are teeming around us, thus there are times when we are longing for something which would save us from despair. However, the lesson being taught to us by the dawn masses also being colloquially referred to as Simbang Gabi is to be hopeful for the coming of the Light which will enlighten our gloomy and rather dark paths.
With Eve Comes Death, With Mary Comes Life
St. Peregrine Laziosi Diocesan Shrine/ Jasper Christian Gambito. Today , the Universal Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary. Blessed Pope Pius IX defined in the Apostolic Constitution ‘Ineffabilis Deus’ that Mary, upon her conception in the womb of her mother St. Anne, was freed from the original sin as she was predestined to become the mother of Jesus Christ.
“Wakas ng Masayang Tinatanaw” 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ November 18, 2018

“Letting Go….Letting God” 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ September 30, 2018
“Ang Jesus ng Pananampalataya” 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time- September 16, 2018
“Shhh…Listen” 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ September 09, 2018
I just realized that the words "silent" and "listen" contain the same letters and how those words are very significant to my life and to my prayer life. We are living in a noisy world. From the time we wake up and step out home till we come back, we encounter...
