In celebration of the Month of the Holy Rosary, the Parish Hall of St. Peregrine Parish and Diocesan Shrine was filled with prayerful hearts as the parish community came together for Living Rosary with the theme “3D for Our Lady” (Daily Decades of Devotion for Our Lady) on October 18, 2025. Various ministries, commissions, communities, and parishioners came together in unity to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary through this solemn and meaningful devotion.
The morning began with registration at 8:30 AM, followed by the formal opening at 9:00 AM. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Bryan Ma. Eala, OSM, our Parish Priest, who delivered inspiring opening remarks. He welcomed everyone warmly and reminded us of the importance of Marian devotion in our daily lives. His message set a reverent tone for the morning, reminding everyone of the power of prayer and unity.
Following Fr. Bryan’s message, Sis. Kring Loquias shared a heartfelt reflection on the significance of the Living Rosary. She described the Rosary not merely as a prayer, but as a spiritual lifeline – a “sure means of curing oneself of sin and embracing a Christian life.” Her words beautifully introduced the day’s theme, encouraging everyone to commit to praying the Rosary daily as a path to deeper faith and holiness.
The Living Rosary was prayed with solemnity and devotion, with each decade led by representatives from different parish groups. As voices united in prayer, the beads of the Rosary came alive, creating a powerful atmosphere of grace and reflection.
More than just a gathering, the event served as a renewal of commitment to Our Lady and a reminder of the strength found in community prayer. As the Month of the Holy Rosary continues, the parish invites everyone to embrace the Daily Decades of Devotion, making the Rosary a daily habit that brings peace, healing, and spiritual growth.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the success of this event. May our devotion to Our Lady continue to flourish, and may her maternal intercession guide our parish in faith, hope, and love.
Let us continue to walk with Mary, one decade at a time.
“The rosary is a mystic crown which Christian people place every day on the queenly head of the Mother of God. It is certainly the most beautiful flower of human piety and the most fruitful source of heavenly graces. This prayer is perfect because of the lessons it imparts.” – Pope Benedict XV
