The lay faithful of St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish and Diocesan Shrine gathered on September 26, 2026, for a meaningful and joyful Gabi ng mga Layko, held at the Parish Hall. The event brought together members of the parish’s various ministries and commissions for an evening dedicated to worship, formation, appreciation, and fellowship.
The celebration began with the Holy Mass, where participants offered thanksgiving for the gift of service and renewed their commitment to the mission of the Church. It was a beautiful expression of unity as lay ministers from different apostolates came together as one parish family.
Following the Mass, the participants were blessed with an inspiring formation talk given by Bro. Michael Angelo Lobrin, who shared valuable insights on the role of the laity in the life and mission of the Church. His message encouraged everyone to continue serving with faith, humility, and dedication, recognizing that every act of service becomes a witness to God’s love.
The evening continued with the welcoming of participants and the recognition of outstanding individuals and ministries through the Special Awards Ceremony. Their unwavering commitment and generous service to the parish were acknowledged and celebrated, inspiring others to persevere in their own ministries.
Dressed in elegant cocktail attire, the lay faithful enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and celebration. Dance presentations, fellowship activities, and exciting party awards created a lively atmosphere that strengthened friendships and fostered a deeper sense of belonging within the parish community.
As the night concluded, participants left with grateful hearts, renewed enthusiasm, and a deeper appreciation for the ministry entrusted to them.
Gabi ng mga Layko 2026 was more than an event. It was a testament to the vibrant faith and dedication of the lay faithful who continue to share their time, talents, and treasures in service to God and His people.
May this annual gathering continue to inspire all lay ministers to remain steadfast in their calling and to joyfully proclaim the Gospel through their lives.
