Guided by the theme “Growing in Service, Maturing in Virtues,” St. Peregrine Laziosi Parish held its Parish Pastoral Planning on October 9–11, 2026, at La Traviesa Resort. The gathering brought together the Parish Pastoral Council, heads of commissions, ministries, and communities to reflect on their shared mission, evaluate past activities, and establish pastoral priorities for the coming year.
The first day focused on spiritual formation and pastoral reflection. Kring Loquias facilitated a formation session on the wise use of time as Christians and the importance of looking beyond outward good works to nurture a deeper spiritual life. This was followed by a pastoral talk from the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Bryan Ma. Eala, OSM, who presented his goals and vision for the parish.
The second day centered on the evaluation of activities and the development of pastoral action plans. Participants reviewed their groups’ accomplishments and identified areas for improvement. A team-building activity also emphasized the importance of strengthening connections among the parish’s different groups, recognizing that unity and collaboration are essential to building a stronger parish community.
On the final day, participants reviewed the parish financial report and worked on the parish calendar of activities. These sessions highlighted the importance of transparency, responsible stewardship, and coordinated planning in carrying out the parish’s mission.
The three-day gathering served as an opportunity to renew the commitment of parish leaders to faithful service and collaborative ministry. Inspired by the theme, the parish community moves forward with a shared vision: to serve with greater dedication, grow in Christian virtues, and work together in fulfilling the mission of the Church.
