Parish Priest’s Advent Message

Ave Maria!

My dear brothers and sisters, as a person who longs for healing waits with hope and patience, so too are we invited in this Advent season to place ourselves in the loving hands of God. May we be strengthened each day by faith, hope, love, and the quiet power of prayer.

With a grateful heart, I thank the Lord for allowing me to serve you—His beloved people, His Church. It is a true blessing to walk this journey of faith with you.

As we journey in this season of Advent, I warmly invite each of you to make this a time of prayerful preparation. Let this be a moment to slow down, to listen deeply, and to welcome the healing and renewal that God desires for us. May our waiting for the birth of our Savior help us to grow in virtue and become more compassionate, patient, and loving.

I especially encourage all our parishioners and pilgrims to draw close to the Sacraments, where the Lord meets us with His mercy and healing grace. And let us continue to hold in our prayers all our sick brothers and sisters especially those who are suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases, trusting that God is near to the brokenhearted and the suffering. “Surely He has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases…By His wounds we are healed (Is 53:4–5).”

Through the loving intercession of Our Blessed Mother and St. Peregrine, our patron, may the Lord bless us, heal us, and fill our hearts with peace. Wishing everyone a fruitful and meaningful Advent season.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
