June 26, 2026. The St. Peregrine Parish and Diocesan Shrine joyfully hosted this year’s Fiesta de San Josemaría Escrivá with the theme, “In Your Name, I Will Lower the Net.” The celebration also featured the presence of the Pilgrim Image and Relic of St. Josemaría Escrivá, giving the faithful a special opportunity to offer their prayers and venerate one of the great saints of the Church.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Willy Ong and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Paul Martin Ma. Gapuz, OSM, and Rev. Fr. Kristoffer Joey Ma. Omandam, OSM. Together with parishioners and devotees, the community gathered to honor the life of St. Josemaría and to thank God for his enduring witness of faith and holiness.

In his homily, Fr. Willy Ong reflected on the life and teachings of St. Josemaría Escrivá, reminding everyone that holiness is not reserved for a few but is a universal call. Through our ordinary work, daily responsibilities, and faithful service to God, each of us is invited to become holy and to joyfully cast our nets in the Lord’s name.

May the witness of St. Josemaría continue to inspire us to seek God in the ordinary moments of life and to respond generously to His call.
