RE:        VISIT OF THE WORLD APOSTOLATE OF FATIMA (WAF) OF THE PHILIPPINES PILGRIM IMAGE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA

Dear Fathers, Monsignori, Brothers and Sisters:

Peace!

In celebration of the one hundred years anniversary of the Fatima Apparitions this year – 2017, the WAF Philippines, who has been bestowed with its own Pilgrim image of Our Lady of Fatima from Fatima, Portugal, is conducting a nationwide Fatima Pilgrim Virgin Visitation to all Arch/Dioceses in the country.  This year-long Pilgrim Visitation will be called the “WAF Philippines Pilgrim Virgin Centenary Visitation.”

It is scheduled to arrive in our Diocese on 30 June 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and will be enshrined at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Philamlife Village, Las Piñas City, until 2 July 2017 after the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

Attached herewith is the Program for the above mentioned visit.

We have also enclosed a soft copy of the Concession of the Plenary Indulgence and the design of the tarpaulin that you may print and post in your bulletin board to promote awareness of your parishioners to attend the Visit of the Pilgrim image.

In view thereof, we urge you to please send your Parish Pastoral Council, parish lay leaders, members of the different commissions and parishioners to the event.

We are truly blessed and honored that our Diocese has been selected as one of the itineraries of Our Lady’s visit on this centenary year of Her apparitions.
